Super Bowl XIV, held on January 20, 1980, was a thrilling matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Los Angeles Rams. The game took place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The Steelers emerged victorious with a final score of 31-19.

The game was closely contested throughout, with both teams putting up a strong fight. Terry Bradshaw, the Steelers' quarterback, had a standout performance, throwing for 309 yards and two touchdowns and was namded Super Bowl MVP. Wide receiver John Stallworth also made a significant impact, catching three passes for 121 yards and a touchdown. So did Franco Harris (2 TD runs) and Lynn Swann (5 receptions for 79 yards and a TD).

 

 

 

The Rams, led by quarterback Vince Ferragamo, fought hard to keep the game competitive. Ferragamo threw for 212 yards, but the Steelers' defense managed to create crucial turnovers and put pressure on the Rams' offense.

Super Bowl XIV is notable for being the first time a team won four Super Bowl titles, cementing the Pittsburgh Steelers' dynasty and making them the team of the 1970s. It was the Rams first ever Super Bowl appearance.
