Super Bowl XXVIII was played on January 30, 1994, between the Dallas Cowboys and the Buffalo Bills. The game took place at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, Georgia. The Cowboys emerged as the champions, defeating the Bills by a score of 30-13.

This Super Bowl was a rematch of the previous year's Super Bowl XXVII, which the Cowboys had also won. The Cowboys' dominant performance in Super Bowl XXVIII solidified their status as one of the most talented teams of the 1990s.

Running back Emmitt Smith played a crucial role for the Cowboys, rushing for 132 yards and two touchdowns, earning him the Super Bowl MVP award. Troy Aikman managed the game well, completing 19 of 27 passes for 207 yards. The Cowboys' defense also played exceptionally well, holding the Bills to just 13 points.

On the other side, the Bills' quarterback, Jim Kelly, had a better game than last year but it wasn't enough. He was 31/50 for 260 yards. Thurman Thomas struggled once again, managing only 37 yards on 16 carries and a TD. This loss marked the Bills' fourth consecutive Super Bowl defeat, a feat that has never been accomplished by any other team.

Super Bowl XXVIII was the Cowboys fourth Super Bowl win as a franchise. At that moment, they were tied with the San Francisco 49ers and Pittsburgh Steelers with the most Super Bowl wins. The Bills tied the Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos with the most losses in Super Bowl history (4).
